WERMERS PROPERTIES AND R&V MANAGEMENT BEGIN CONSTRUCTION OF SOLA LUXURY RENTAL HOMES IN CARMEL VALLEY

Wermers Properties began construction of their newest project, Sola at Pacific Highlands Ranch, in Carmel Valley, San Diego. The total project consists of 331 luxury rental homes, and will offer one, two, and three bedroom units with all the amenities for premium apartment living in the vibrant community of Carmel Valley.

Located on Village Loop Road and easily accessible from Highway 56, “Sola’s residents will not only experience premium apartment amenities, but will also enjoy the proximity to retail spaces made available at The Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch. This is mix use done right – Sola will set the bar for this type of development in Carmel Valley. Wermers Properties partnered with R&V Management for the project,” said Austin Wermers, Development Manager for Wermers Properties. Sola’s community features include a community garden park, a children’s tot lot, proximity to two of the highest-ranking high schools in California (Canyon Crest Academy and Torrey Pines High School), and access to the 160,000 square feet of retail at The Village (including Trader Joe’s, Starbucks Coffee, and Panera Bread among others).

Sola’s units will be the combination of luxury and sustainability, each featuring wood plank style flooring and high ceilings, energy-efficient windows, Nest Energy Saving Thermostats, top of the line energy star stainless steel appliances, a full size washer and dryer, gourmet kitchens, quartz, euro style cabinets, and over-sized bath tubs. Sola’s green building practices will be visible outside the units as well with designated and gated parking that offer eco-friendly accommodations like electric vehicle charging stations and bike storage.

Sola’s on-site amenities are designed to make the most of Southern California living. The luxury apartments feature a resort-style swimming pool and spa and outdoor areas equipped with barbeque grills and fire pits, a full service fitness club, entertainment facilities equipped with a High Definition game simulator and game tables, and a business center furnished with Wi-Fi and Mac and PC desktops. Sola’s amenities will extend to four-footed residents as well with pet friendly features like dog washing stations, a dog walking pathway, and even a dog park.

Construction on Sola began in late June 2016 with expected completion in 2018. Wermers’ construction team, Wermers Multi-Family Corporation, is the general contractor onsite.
